As part of the ongoing efforts of the Future Association for Development and Environment (FADE), in partnership with the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), the project Psychosocial Support for Children Affected by the War is being implemented, targeting over 60,000 children throughout 2024–2025.
Program Objective
The program aims to reduce psychosocial impacts on affected children and enable them and their families to adapt positively, by providing specialized support and safe spaces for play and expression.
Program Pillars
- Providing individual and group psychosocial support sessions for children.
- Creating safe spaces for play, recreational activities, and self-expression.
- Enabling families to better cope with psychological stress.
- Raising community awareness of the importance of psychosocial care for children.
This program is funded by the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), reaffirming FADE’s commitment to protecting children and promoting their wellbeing in the Gaza Strip during 2024–2025.
